Who we are

Orieon (sole proprietorship), established at Weimarstraat 66E, 2562HA The Hague, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 96649690, is the controller for the personal data processed through this website. Contact: christianorie@orieon.ai.

What data we process

We only process the data you provide to us through this website:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation (optional) and your message.
• AI scan: your answers to the scan questions and, if you want the result followed up, your name and email address.
• AI assistant (chat): the messages you type in the chat window.

Purposes and legal basis

We use this data solely to answer your question or request and, at your request, to generate and follow up an AI sketch. The legal basis is the performance of, or steps prior to, a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Processors and international transfer

To run the website we use two processors: Postmark (email delivery of form submissions) and Anthropic (the AI model behind the AI assistant and the AI scan). Messages you enter in the chat or scan are sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Both are established in the United States; transfers take place under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Please do not enter sensitive or confidential personal data in the chat or scan.

Retention

We keep contact and enquiry data no longer than needed to handle your request and, in the case of a client relationship, for as long as that relationship lasts and statutory retention periods require. After that we delete it.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. The only local storage is a technical preference (theme choice) in your browser; it contains no personal data and is not shared.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object. Send your request to christianorie@orieon.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always on this page.
